Rev. Jackson will stress the importance of participation in theelectoral process and react to the nationwide effort to suppress voter turnout among targeted populations. He’ll also help us celebrate all the great work we did together to defeat PA’s oppressive Voter ID law(at least for now)!
Oh yeah, we almost forgot to mention there will be a FREE concert and FREE food!
Please join us in welcoming Reverend Jackson to Philadelphia on Sunday, October 14th at 1:30pm at Malcolm X Park. We’ll also have speakers from the NAACP and Fight for Philly and City Councilwoman Jannie Blackwell.
